About Me

Hello, I am Liliana Rosetta Mark (hence the blog’s name). I am 20 years old and currently a Junior, at Washington State University. I am majoring in Digital Technology and Culture and minoring in Fine Arts as well as Communications. I am interested in becoming a Graphic Designer; creating graphics, art, logos, branding, and helping with business, marketing, and sales for companies is something I am experienced in and looking forward to do.
I am a Seattle local, and after attending a month long Interior Design Program at Parsons in New York City in 2018, as well as attending Washington State University In Pullman, Washington, it has made me realize that I belong in a big city. I have been drawing since I have been able to, and growing up only expanded my interests for creativity within art. My interests include: drawing, painting, digital art, photography, designing, decorating, fashion, collaging, traveling and reading. Some things I love besides art are: family, dogs, and Hot Cheetos.
I am currently a seasonal worker at Caffe Vita Roasting Company, and when I originally started during the summer of 2020, I was a marketing intern. I created graphics for their website and social media accounts, and took photos for their social media marketing, (Check out Caffe Vita Portfolio Page). Over the winter of 2020, I worked in their warehouse packaging orders, and as a barista at their Seward Park and Queen Anne locations. Working for various jobs within their company has allowed me to see how a business works from the inside out. I have been exposed and experienced to the business, service, and marketing aspects of a company, and I am proud to say that I will use these experiences to work hard and continue to learn more in the future.

As I continue to study hard in school and work on personal growth to meet my best potential, I always strive to expand my skills within my own interests and professional abilities. While in search for a summer job, I came across an Internship opportunity as an Sales Representative at Hint Water Company. Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by excellent Sales role models known as my parents, and with my ability to quickly learn, work hard, be persistent, along with lingo I have picked up naturally throughout the years, I knew I would be a good fit. I applied, was interviewed and completed 10 weeks of working hard as a Sales Representative Intern! It was lots fun, and I am so grateful for all the new skills I have learned. I experienced what it was like to be in the real world of business; making deals, stating statistics to managers, how to manage different personalities, learning different job titles and navigating the person I should talk to, using professional language, making connections to distributors, sending emails, making phone calls, learning how grocery stores make deals with companies and cooperate, being persistent, flexible, and always on my feet were some of the things I did on the daily during my time at Hint. While I recognize that Sales and Graphic Design are two different things, I believe that Sales is in every job, and it is a necessary skill in the business world and in any company.

Before I started my Internship, in May 2021, I was asked via Instagram by Seattle local artist, and good friend of mine, B LINE DOT (Brian) to help out on a large scale mural at Caffe Vita at their Capitol Hill location. Painting is my true passion, therefore I was ecstatic to be able to tag along and help for this mural. I am a self taught painter, so watching Brian’s process and use of professional tools and materials taught me very practical skills that I will use for my own pieces, and in any professional pieces I make. During this mural, I completed the 8×8 Caffe Vita logo by hand as well as assisting where needed. I am so proud of this achievement and to have my name on a mural that is in the middle of a popular city. I am very excited to continue to help Brian on his future murals.
